Briefing letter: March 2000

There will be a meeting for Canada 2000 participants on Monday 20^th March at Chalfont Squadron starting at 20:00. Equipment requirements will be covered; Field & Trek, Endless River and Cotswold catalogues will be available. The route has also been confirmed. We now have all the maps and locations of the White River camp sites. Further training dates will also be confirmed at this meeting.

A reminder that the second £200 installment is now due. Cheques payable to “Herts and Bucks Wing ATC” please.

Flights have been confirmed with Air Canada to Thunder bay, depart Heathrow at 08:50 on the 30^th June 2000 returning to Heathrow on the 22^nd July 2000 at 08:05.

Insurance has also been arranged. The Policy document can be inspected at the March meeting.

A First Aid course has been arranged for Sunday 14 May 2000. This will take place at Chalfont Squadron, cost will be £5:00 and start at 09:15. Tea and Coffee will be provided but bring a packed lunch. Numbers to be confirmed at the March meeting.

Finally we need to obtain diplomatic clearance and now need to know your Passport numbers and dates of Birth. Please send these to Flt Lt Geoff Bowles before the end of March or have the information at the March 20^th meeting.
